Zug Switzerland 30 January, 2008 – The European Outdoor Group (EOG) has today announced that the OutDoor Trade Fair will remain in Friedrichshafen.

Following eighteen months of extensive talks, presentations and a vote by members of the European Outdoor Group, the decision to keep the show in Friedrichshafen was announced on the last day of the ispo show in Munich today. (more…)

The European Outdoor Group has announced that several new members have been welcomed into membership including international footwear manufacturer Merrell, performance outdoor footwear brand Kamik, Italian trekking shoe company Aku and leading pole manufacturer Komperdell with other companies still waiting to join.

In 2006 the European Outdoor Group became a member of FESI (Federation of European Sporting Industries) with the aim of ensuring that the outdoor sector had a voice within the European government lobbying system in Brussels. (more…)
