The European Outdoor Group is a very active active member of the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI). We work hard to ensure that the specific needs of the outdoor industry are effectively represented at a European level and to all EU institutions.
The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) is the representative body for the sporting goods sector in Europe. FESI engages with all European political institutions, along with other European authorities and bodies that are stakeholders in the industry.

- Offers an established and recognised channel for the voice of the sporting goods industry to be heard in Brussels
- Communicates with a variety of European stakeholders across a wide range of issues, from trade and environment, to product safety and many more.
The EOG is currently participating in the following FESI committees:
- Standards and Safety
- Trade and Customs

EOG General Secretary Mark Held is a member of the FESI Board.
One of the main goals of FESI is to promote free trade between European Member States and, of course, to facilitate trade world-wide.
