Through our #itsgreatoutthere campaign, we will play a major role during EWoS, which is part of the commission's major #beactive initiative.
During the last two years, the outdoor industry has been one of the most prominent participants in both EWoS and #beactive, showcasing how much the sector can contribute to the ongoing drive to get millions of citizens to be more active and embrace healthier lifestyles. This year's EWoS will run from 23-30 September and we are encouraging people all over Europe to get involved and share their experiences on social media. As an incentive, we have launched a big competition for the public, with outdoor kit worth more than €7,000 available to be won.
It's really easy to get involved:
- Take someone outdoors and take a photo / video of the two of you
- Post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
- Tag your friend and include the following hashtags: #takesomeoneoutdoors, #itsgreatoutthere, #beactive.
