The European Outdoor Group (EOG) brings together organisations from across the outdoor sector to strengthen our industry, address shared challenges and create opportunities for collaboration. Our members include outdoor brands, retailers, technology providers, national associations, research institutions and a growing range of organisations supporting the outdoor value chain.

Which membership is right for your organisation?

The EOG offers two membership categories: Members and Associated Members. The appropriate category is determined by the Membership Committee and approved by the Board.

2. Members

Membership is designed for established outdoor brands, retailers and technology component providers that meet the EOG's eligibility criteria.

As a Member, your organisation can:
- Connect and collaborate with organisations across the European outdoor industry.
- Contribute to industry discussions and initiatives addressing shared challenges.
- Access member resources, data, events and networking opportunities.
- Participate in the EOG's governance, including voting rights at the Annual Assembly.


‍Eligibility criteria

‍To qualify for membership, organisations must:
- Operate as an outdoor brand, retailer or technology component provider.
- Have an annual European turnover exceeding €5 million.
- Formally trade in at least three European countries.

2. Associated Members: 

Associated Membership is open to organisations that support, serve or contribute to the outdoor industry but do not meet the criteria for full membership. This category recognises the wider network of organisations that help our industry develop, innovate and respond to emerging challenges.

Eligible organisations may include:
- National and industry associations.
- NGOs, research institutions and academia.
- Service providers and consultancies.
- Manufacturing, distribution, logistics and operations businesses.
- Digital, technology and event service providers.
- Repair, circularity and other sustainability-focused organisations.
- Smaller outdoor brands, retailers and start-ups.
- Other relevant stakeholders across the outdoor value chain.

Associated Members can engage with the EOG network, access relevant membership opportunities and contribute to the wider outdoor industry community.

Associated Members do not have voting rights at EOG meetings.
