From October 29–30, 2025, PERFORMANCE DAYS – the leading trade fair for functional fabrics and new technologies in fashion, sports, footwear, and accessories –will open its doors in Munich. Over two days, visitors can look forward to the latest trends, groundbreaking innovations, and valuable networking opportunities.

This October edition will spotlight a particularly forward-looking theme: the role of recycling companies in an increasingly circular economy. Under the focus topic “Textile to Textile – the role of recyclers”, the fair will provide in-depth insights, practical solutions, and opportunities to connect, addressing one of the industry’s most pressing challenges.

DAY 0 – Rethink Waste. Before it´s law.


On October 28, the fall edition of PERFORMANCE DAYS kicks off with DAY 0: a full day of exchange, peer learning, and fresh perspectives on the issue of waste in the textile industry. Under the motto “In nature, there is no waste”, workshops, group discussions, and practical case studies will demonstrate how “rubbish” can be transformed into valuable resources and what steps can be taken along the value chain. Industry experts such as Alexandra Wittwer (BSI), Manuel Schweizer (OceanSafe) and Moritz Schäpsmeier (Sitex) will share insights, supported by Bowie Miles and Charles Ross, who will guide participants through a day with inspiration and new perspectives.

October's Focus Topic: Textile to Textile - The Role of Recyclers


As usual PERFORMANCE DAYS want to strengthen its commitment to sustainability.This season’s spotlight is on Textile to Textile (T2T) recycling, a vital circular approach that preserves fibre quality while reducing dependence on virgin resources. The focus of this year´s fall show will dive into the current landscape of T2T recycling: exploring material flows, emerging technologies, and the challenges and opportunities shaping this field. The show´s aim is, to highlight real progress and pinpoint where innovation is still needed to help circular systems scale effectively. The Trend Forum at the heart of the show will give an overview not only about the Focus Topic, visitors can explore 100%sustainable trend fabrics for the season F/W 27/28, accessories, and special stories across different categories.

New: Innovation Hub by Future Fabrics EXPO

The Expert TalksStage is once again packed with hot topics across two days – with a strong spotlight on this season’s Focus Topic: T2T Recycling. Top industry experts will dive into the latest developments and challenges in textile-to-textile recycling, bringing valuable insights directly to the PERFORMANCE DAYS audience. Among the confirmed speakers are: Adam Gardiner, Textile Exchange; Katy Stevens, European Outdoor Group; Shivam Gusain, Decypher and Simon Whitmarsh-Knight, Hyosung.
