Registration opens for second edition of Outdoor Impact Summit

Registration has opened for the second edition of the Outdoor Impact Summit. Organised by the European Outdoor Group in collaboration with the MagNet publishing group and Green MediaLab SRL SB, the event will take place from 14-15 May 2026, at the Riva del Garda Conference Centre, as part of European Outdoor Week. After making its debut this year, the summit will once again offer a programme that explores practical approaches to sustainability, corporate responsibility, and community engagement.

The Outdoor Impact Summit is a platform that brings together the entire outdoor supply chain and a wider community of professionals, and is dedicated to sustainability, responsible innovation, and social impact. The event is aimed at company executives and environmental, social and governance (ESG) professionals. The 2026 programme will be designed for those who want to engage in discussions about the transformations underway in the industry, and who are committed to finding tools to drive change that can be implemented across the sector.

The 2026 Outdoor Impact Summit will offer an interactive, multidisciplinary environment within which to discuss challenges, opportunities, and innovative approaches, with the goal of generating deliverable actions that can make positive impacts on both the environment and society. The programme will revolve primarily around three main thematic areas: Policy, biodiversity, and circularity. Each topic will be explored through contributions from a wide range of experts, including university professors, researchers, companies, and organisations that are directly engaged in the sustainability transition. The presentation of experiences, case studies, and research, will give participants a comprehensive overview of emerging trends and the tools needed to drive change.

After a successful first edition this year in Munich, the Outdoor Impact Summit will move to Riva del Garda in 2026 and will officially open the first European Outdoor Week (EOW).From May 14 to 19, Riva del Garda (and the wider Garda Trentino area) will become the European and international capital of outdoor sports and running, with a series of events for the trade and also a broad and diverse audience of enthusiasts. Along with the summit, EOW will incorporate the Outdoor andOutdoor & Running Business Days trade shows, the European Outdoor GroupAssembly, European Outdoor Awards, and Activation Days for key trade and consumer communities.

EOG Managing Director Christian Schneidermeier comments:

“The first Outdoor Impact Summit laid down an excellent marker and was very well received. We are now building on that to firmly establish the event as a key reference point for professionals in the outdoor and sports sectors, aiming to build relationships, share knowledge, and collaborate on the development of solutions that strengthen the sustainability of the entire industry. The summit will be a dynamic and thought provoking event to kick off the first European Outdoor Week, and crucially, like the first edition, it will provide delegates with practical solutions to take back to their organisations.”

Benedetto Sironi of MagNet adds:

“The setting of Riva del Garda is internationally recognised for its strong outdoor identity and will provide an ideal setting to energise this unique opportunity for exchange, inspiration, and professional growth. The whole industry will be gathering in Riva del Garda that week, and starting proceedings with the Outdoor Impact Summit sets the scene perfectly, by putting the biggest issues of our time front and centre of the European Outdoor Week.”

Taking part means not only staying updated on industry trends but also actively contributing to defining the responsible future of the sports industry.
