Snowsports Industries America and European Outdoor Group forge strategic partnership to enhance member value and global collaboration

Snowsports Industries America (SIA), the leading trade association for the winter sports industry in North America, and the European Outdoor Group (EOG), the industry association representing the European outdoor sector, have announced a new partnership to strengthen collaboration between the United States and Europe, while also delivering expanded value to their respective members.

This landmark agreement formalises a shared commitment to foster industry-wide impact, enhance meaningful cooperation, and provide members with valuable access to resources, insights, and opportunities across both continents.

Under the new partnership, the SIA and EOG will exchange a suite of exclusive benefits for their members, designed to support business growth, regulatory compliance, and market intelligence:

For EOG Members:

  • Complimentary access to SIA’s Consumer Anticipation Report (season kick-off)
  • SIA Compliance Alliance Newsletter (monthly)
  • SIA Newsletter (bi-monthly)
  • Participation in a U.S. regulations-specific Compliance Alliance call
  • Member pricing for the Sundance Global Summit and SIA Summit Series

For SIA Premium Members:

  • Complimentary access to the EOG CSR Newsletter and ad-hoc communications
  • EOG Executive Update email (weekly)
  • EOG State of Trade top-line numbers
  • Member pricing for the European Outdoor Market Intelligence Service
  • Member pricing for the Carbon Reduction Project and Single Use Plastics Project
  • Member pricing for EOG Summits.

To further enhance global engagement, both organisations will offer their voting members the opportunity to purchase an International Add-On Membership for an additional $500 (USD). This add-on provides full access to the counterpart association’s premium benefits, including policy webinars, working groups, research, data, and invitations to exclusive events. Eligibility is contingent on maintaining a current membership in good standing, and all applications will be reviewed on a case by case basis to ensure alignment with existing membership policies.

“This partnership is a significant step toward empowering our members to further strengthen and grow their businesses... By sharing resources and expertise, we’re enabling our members to thrive in a rapidly evolving global market and collaborating on issues that have the greatest impact on our community.”

said Nick Sargent, president of SIA.

David Ekelund, president of EOG, echoed the same sentiment:

David Ekelund, EOG President
“Cross-Atlantic collaboration is essential for tackling the challenges and seizing the opportunities facing our sector. This agreement with SIA will deliver tangible value to EOG members and drive meaningful progress for the entire industry.”

United by a shared commitment to thriving and sustainable industries, SIA and EOG are embarking on a new era of collaboration that transcends borders and aims to elevate both industries. By harnessing the strengths of both organisations and providing members with greater access, insight, and opportunity, this partnership will empower their members to shape the next chapter of business in the US, Europe, and beyond.
