Bradshaw Taylor is a specialist outdoor, country & lifestyle distributor based in the UK. They represent a number of brands, including some existing EOG members.

They are proud to be part of the outdoor industry and have been longstanding members of the Outdoor Industries Association in the UK. Through this membership, they have gained a strong sense of belonging and collaboration and would like to extend to the wider European community. With many key accounts being European retailers, it is important to remain closely connected to the industry.

The team at Bradshaw Taylor believe that joining the EOG is a positive step forward, enabling stronger networking, improved information sharing, and support re-establishing high-quality trade shows that are truly fit for purpose in today’s commercial environment.

At Bradshaw Taylor, we are passionate about the outdoors and committed to protecting it for future generations. By joining the European Outdoor Group, we look forward to collaborating with and learning from fellow members to drive meaningful sustainability and CSR impact across our industry.

Julie Russell, Head of Marketing, Bradshaw Taylor

Undoubtedly, Amazon plays a major role in our sector, directly and indirectly, and this news delivers an opportunity to harness that for the benefit of all. When applying to join the association, Amazon highlighted some of the areas of our work that it wants to play an active role in, collaborating with our team and our other members. In particular, the company is keen to support some of our data projects and trend reports, and clearly, such input into industry data programmes can make a significant and positive difference to those initiatives. Amazon is also committed to getting involved in our ESG work, and joining the association will facilitate even closer ties with a lot of business with which the firm already works.

Amazon is committed to investing and innovating in sustainability across its businesses to create a more sustainable future. While we will leverage our size and scale to help drive progress forward, we cannot do this alone. That’s why Amazon co-founded and became the first signatory of The Climate Pledge in 2019, and committed to become net-zero carbon by 2040. We made that commitment knowing the path forward would not be linear, and would require investment, innovation, and collaboration—and we continue to be energized and laser focused on fighting climate change and decarbonizing our operations. Joining the EOG represents a natural extension of our Climate Pledge commitment and our dedication to industry-wide sustainability initiatives. We look forward to contributing our technological expertise and working alongside fellow members to drive positive change.
