Launch of European Commission's Call for Evidence on EU Taxonomy Climate and Environmental Delegated Acts
The European Commission has opened a Call for Evidence on the revision of Climate and Environmental Taxonomy Delegated Acts. Members can find more details about the call here and in the attached document.
MORE DETAILS
The European Commission plans to revise the Climate and Environmental Taxonomy Delegated Acts through two new Delegated Regulations. The goal is to improve the EU Taxonomy’s clarity, usability, legal certainty, and cost-effectiveness by addressing implementation challenges. The revision is expected to clarify and align technical screening criteria, including the “do no significant harm” criteria, with updated EU legislation, simplify requirements, and remove unnecessary provisions only on areas with proven practical barriers or inconsistencies.

- Next week when Chiara returns from her OOO she will share with members the detailed consolidation process and deadlines to submit input.
- The Call for Evidence will be open to participation until 5 December 2025.
