1% for the Planet + European Outdoor Group Member Resources
EOG members can now count their membership fees toward their annual 1% for the Planet commitment, making it easier than ever to reach their environmental giving goals. Both networks gain access to environmental solutions and best practices from Europe and the United States.
If you are already a 1% for the Planet Member:
Put your EOG membership fee towards your 1% contribution:
The existing 1% for the Planet Members can now direct their contributions towards EOG’s sustainability initiatives. This includes decarbonization projects, responsible consumption programs and environmental education.
EOG Members must provide proof of their annual EOG membership fee to count this payment towards their annual 1% contribution. This will be recorded as a “donation” via the 1% for the Planet member portal. Proof must include “European Outdoor Group” as the Environmental Partner name, the name of the EOG member, the date of the payment and the amount paid.

Contribute to the EOG Impact Accelerator Fund:
Now, via the 1% platform, EOG members can contribute to the EOG Impact Accelerator Fund.
1% for the Planet Member Certification
Certification is the foundation of 1% for the Planet membership. Third-party certification allows members to leverage the 1% for the Planet logo as a verified seal of their commitment to people and the planet, without the potential risks of greenwashing. It provides credibility to the 1% for the Planet movement and to businesses that have made the 1% commitment. And it is an opportunity for members to assess and track the impact of their giving over time. To certify, members must upload their proof of revenue and your proof of donations (totaling at least 1% of your revenue) into the 1% for the Planet member portal within 120 days of your fiscal year ending.

Events
EOG Members are invited to 1% for the Planet events.
Global Summit - Biannual global gathering of the 1% for the Planet network to exchange ideas, learn from experts and meet some cool people. Global Summit is coming to Europe in 2026, hosted in Amsterdam in the autumn.
Sessions - Intimate, pop-up style events in your city to engage with members, give back and grow the global movement. The European Session will be in 2025 in Amsterdam in October.
Blue Earth Summit - The big partner event this year, hosted in London in October.
