Approval of the PEFCR by the Commission and an invitation to the launch event in June

FESI received information yesterday that the Commission officially gave a green light to the PEFCR for apparel and footwear. As a next step, the Commission will now link the PEFCR on its website. Once this is done, FESI will share the link with members.
The launch event aims to bring together experts and leaders from the European Parliament, the European Commission, and industry to foster a dynamic discussion that will enable participants to understand the methodology, how it came to be, and what its future may look like, including its legislative future. The event take place between 9:30 and 12:30, with a standing lunch reception on location afterwards. FESI will share the detailed agenda as soon as it will be finalized.
