This is to flag that on 12 August, the Commission published a new guidance document with definitions of relevant terms concerning the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Below is a list of topics included in the document whose definitions and clarification you may find especially useful:

Most importantly, the document also clarifies the interplay between EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD): in case of conflict between EUDR due diligence rules and CSDDD, EUDR always takes precedence.
