With the dynamic field of sustainability policy at the EU and at a member state level, we have organised a series of webinars presented by Ohana Public Affairs to ensure that EOG members have a good and clear understanding of the latest EU policy developments relevant for the sector with potential impacts on their business and sustainability activities.

Each individual webinar shall last around 1 hour with time for questions and discussion. The presentation, with relevant links to further reading, shall be provided after each webinar.
Each webinar will contain the following:

• Overview of specific legislation, including the latest updates
• Obligations for companies in scope
• Timeline for implementation and compliance
• Recommendations for internal preparation for implementation.

These webinars will contain content for many members of your organisations (sustainability, sourcing, marketing, designers etc) and so we encourage you to share the schedule internally.

Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR)

• ESPR has been adopted. The Commission must still develop sector-specific eco-design requirements, expected to enter into force in 2028 for textiles.

• CSDDD has been adopted but is under revision. Will begin to apply as of 2028
• Forced Labour Regulation also adopted and will apply late 2027
