For information : France (ADEME) publishes guidelines on Greenwashing
To address uncertainties around greenwashing and the transportation of the empowering consumers for a green transition directive, ADEME has just released a new edition of its Anti-Greenwashing Guide (in French), updated to reflect these regulatory changes and the growing importance of responsible communication.
The guide can be downloaded below and is structured in three key parts:
- Understand: Definitions, regulatory and ethical frameworks, and the associated risks.
- Take Action: Practical questions to ask, warning signs to avoid, and tips for building responsible communication and collective engagement.
- Go Further: Additional resources, including detailed information on relevant regulations.
This guide is designed primarily for communication professionals, business leaders, and service providers (agencies, freelancers). It aims both to clarify regulatory requirements and to support a more responsible communication approach—strengthening the visibility of your CSR initiatives while reducing legal, financial, and reputational risks.
If you communicate about your company’s environmental commitments, this resource will be especially valuable.
